Both the girls and boys teams travelled to Mt. Paran last week to compete in the playoffs.  The teams did exceptionally well in their first two matches on Monday, April 23, securing them a spot in the finals on Tuesday, April 24.  The final match was definitely challenging, but the players gave it their all.  In the end, Adam Rocko and Christina Aufleger were able to secure individual wins for their teams, and the teams came in 2nd place overall for the season.  This is a tremendous accomplishment, as the Middle School tennis team has been building its program over the past three years.  A special thanks goes to the five team members who have been with the program all three years:  Christina Aufleger, Catherine Ann Birozes, Veronica Dube, Daniel Nunez, and Garrett Witt

A huge congratulations goes to 8th grader, Adam Rocko, who secured his spot as the Boys #1 Singles Player in the region, going undefeated this season through both the regular season and playoffs!

Boys Team:  Adam Rocko, Garrett Witt, Daniel Nunez, Stephen Morrissey, Mitchell Ojeda, Peter Nelson, Gabriel Ferrari, John Paul Hoover, Jake Meersman, John Lichtenwalner, Robert Sparkman, Michael Denkman

Girls Team:  Erica Cahalan, Christina Aufleger, Claudia Szlek, Veronica Dube, Catherine Ann Birozes, Mindy DeMars, Kate Massengill, Gabby Tanjuatco, Ashley Zuckerman, and Sara Rice
